By nature, I am a connector.
With 28 years of combined experience as a writer, editor, publicist and marketing consultant, I help my clients find the “write” words to develop relationships with their desired audiences, clients and communities.
I have a B.A. in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from U.C. Berkeley and an M.A. in Creative Writing and Performance from San Francisco State University. I am a longtime improvisational theater artist, having studied and performed with Bay Area Theatresports, Action Theater, Motion Theater, and more.
I find great pleasure in the musicality and texture of language. I enjoy flipping through my giant Webster’s Third New International Dictionary (unabridged) and reading definitions at random.
I live with my toy-collector-graphic-designer-marketing-artist partner, our Lego-obsessed third-grader, and our pets: two backyard chickens, one Western-fence lizard, one Betta fish, and one surprisingly tolerant cat.
In addition to enjoying the composition of words, I also compose pictures: I am a professional photographer, specializing in natural-light portraits.
I am also an avid cook.
